With eight years of experience working as a paralegal in estate administration, I’ve guided countless executors, administrators, trustees, and families through the often complex process of settling estates in British Columbia and beyond. During my career, I’ve successfully managed and supported hundreds of probate applications, ranging from straightforward estates to multi-million-dollar, cross-jurisdictional files involving complex assets and challenging legal circumstances.

• High-Value and Complex Estates: Coordination of assets including real property within and outside of BC, corporate holdings, private shares and securities, royalties, vehicles, and personal property.

• Probate and Administration Applications: Experience supporting the preparation and management of standard and complex Grant of Probate and Grant of Administration applications.

• Challenging Wills: Experience with lost, tampered, incomplete, and damaged Wills.

• Rush and Time-Sensitive Applications: Expedited filings for urgent estate matters, including pending property sales.

• Inter-Provincial Resealings: Preparation of applications to reseal Grants from other provinces and territories.

• Multiple and Remote Executors: Coordination of signatures, documentation, and filings for executors located across Canada and internationally.

• Beneficiary Management: Drafting and delivery of beneficiary notices and coordinating compliance with statutory notification requirements, including charity beneficiaries and the Public Guardian and Trustee of BC.

• Insolvent Estates: Providing procedural guidance on the handling and documentation of insolvent estates.
